If you have McFee Security Center protecting
your system (and Windows Firewall, disabled), you will get the web page, but THE VIDEO PICTURE WILL BE Blank and Black.
In the upper left hand corner of the video display, it will say Connect to ............. but will not connect. See screen
below:

We have to DISABLE one small item
in your McFee Security Settings Setup (do not worry, this item is not doing anything anyway, even if enabled. We have to disable
it.......... PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:
1. Go to the toolbar, at lower right hand
portion of screen (where the computer time is displayed)
Click once on the McFee icon (box with
red M in it).
The following screen will appear:

Click
once on "Internet & Network Settings"
You will see the next screen:
In the screen above, you
will see the inset box to the right which says "These Services are Protecting your Internet and network
settings: At the bottom of this inset box you will see "To
Change your options, click Configure below
Click once on Configure in the inset information box where it says "To
change your options....." This will take you to the following
screen: Click once on "PERSONAL
INFORMATION PROTECTION IS ENABLED" bar at bottom part of this screen: You
will see the next screen.... Where you see "Personal
Information cannot be transmitted over the internet"...... CHANGE THIS SETTING
TO "OFF" You will see the following screen:
If you are concerned that this protection should not be OFF,
NO NEED TO WORRY.
THE ON SETTING IS A DEFAULT, BUT THERE WAS NOT ANYTHING LISTED ON YOUR COMPUTER SETTINGS THAT WAS BEING
PROTECTED ANYWAY IN IT'S DEFAULT SETTINGS. IT IS OK TO RUN MCFEE LIKE THIS!
ALL OF YOUR OTHER MCFEE
SECURITY PROTECTION IS ACTIVE AND ENABLED!!!
You can Close the McFee Security Center Window
Connect to Internet and Mispillionworld.com Home Page and bring up the Netcam page
Log on and see below:
YOU SHOULD NOW SEE AN ACTIVE VIDEO OR PICTURE
FEED IN THE NETCAM WINDOW FROM THE INTERNET FEED
SEE SCREEN BELOW: be patient, sometimes it takes a few seconds
to load. |
